FOOD ! XD

THE CUISINE OF THE FILIPINOS HAS ITS ROOTS FROM THE MALAYS ,SPANISH AND MEXICAN FOOD. IT HAS ALSO MANY INFLUENCES FROM ARAB ,INDIAN, JAPANESE AND AMERICAN CUISINES.THE FILIPINOS TRADITIONALLY HAVE THREE MEALS A DAY,THEY ALSO HAVE AN AFTERNOON SNACK. THE HAVE MANY DIFFERENT DISHES, FROM PORK TO BEEF. THEIR STAPLES ARE RICE-WHICH IS EATEN WITH SAUCE OF THE MAIN DISH OR SOUP, FRUITS, MEAT AND SEAFOOD. THEIR COOKING METHODS ARE FRYING, GRILLING AND MOST OF THE TIME, BOILED. THERE ARE MANY UNIQUE DISHES IN THE FILIPINO CUISINE.SOME OF THEM ARE, PAPAITAN WHICH IS GOAT OR BEEF INNARDS STEW FLAVOURED WITH BILE WHICH GIVES IT A BITTER TASTE. THEY ALSO HAVE DOG MEAT. THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER DISH WERE THEY BEAT THE CHICKEN TO DEATH BEFORE COOKING IT TO TENDERIZE THE MEAT. THE HIGH TEMPERATURE THERE ALSO MAKE COOL DRINKS POPOULAR THERE. ALCOHOL ARE ALSO ADDED IN THEIR DIET ALTHOUGH THE CHILDREN DO NOT DRINK IT.

DURING SPECIAL OCCASIONS, JUST LIKE THE CHINESE DURING CHINESE NEW YEAR, DURING FESTIVE OCCASIONS THEY HAVE A WHOLE SUCKLING PIG ANOTHER OF THEIR FESTIVE FOOD IS SHRIMPS WITH PAPAYA, THEY ALSO HAVE PURPLE-YAM FLAVORED CAKES. THEIR CUISINE IS VERY INTERESTING AND THEY ARE VERY CREATIVE IN CREATING NEW AND NICE DISHES
